Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 29, 2026
The Maxwell (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates themaxwell.com. This policy explains how information is handled when you browse our website, contact us, submit an inquiry or application, or follow a booking link.
Information you provide
Our inquiry and career forms collect the details you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, phone number, message, job interests, availability, and a resume or CV link. We use this information to respond, arrange requested services or events, and consider employment inquiries. Forms are processed through Netlify and sent to our business inbox at info@themaxwell.com. Please do not include payment card details, government identification numbers, or other sensitive information in website forms.
Website tracking and why we use it
With your permission, we use website tracking scripts, cookies, pixels, and similar technologies from Google, Microsoft, and Meta to understand how visitors use our website, improve the website experience, measure advertising, and reach our customers with relevant information about The Maxwell.
Optional tools may process information such as your IP address, approximate location, browser and device information, cookie identifiers, referring pages, pages viewed, and interactions with our website. The tools below run only when you enable their category:
- Analytics — Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager: help us understand visits and website actions, including booking-link clicks, phone-link clicks, and successful inquiry submissions. Google’s advertising storage, advertising user-data, and ad-personalization consent signals remain denied in this website’s analytics setup.
- Analytics — Microsoft Clarity: helps us understand clicks, scrolling, and usability through heatmaps and session recordings. We mark inquiry form areas for masking. Our custom business-action events do not include entered form values.
- Advertising — Meta Pixel: helps measure the effectiveness of our advertising and reach customers on Facebook and Instagram. Meta may associate website activity and identifiers with a Meta account and use information under its own privacy policy.
Examples of optional first-party tracking cookies include Google Analytics cookies beginning with _ga, Meta’s _fbp and _fbc, and Clarity’s _clck and _clsk. Which cookies are present and how long they last depend on the services enabled and your browser.
Embedded maps and external booking services
Embedded Google Maps stay off until you allow embedded maps in Privacy settings or select “Load Google Map.” Loading a map shares your IP address and browser information with Google, and Google may use cookies or other information under its own policy. You can instead follow the directions link to open Google Maps directly.
Hotel booking links take you to ResNexus, and golf booking links take you to TrackMan. Those services handle information you provide on their websites, including booking or payment details, under their own privacy notices. Social-media links also take you to external services. Your choices on this website do not control what happens after you leave it.
Essential website services
Website hosting, security, delivery of website files, form processing, and storing your privacy choices remain available when you reject optional services. Hosting and security providers may process IP addresses and request or browser information to deliver and protect the website. Our site is hosted by Netlify.
Your privacy choices
You can accept all optional services, reject them all, or choose analytics, advertising, and embedded maps separately. Optional categories are off until you choose to enable them. Use Privacy settings in the footer or on this page to review or withdraw permission at any time. Rejecting optional services does not prevent you from browsing, submitting an inquiry, or following a booking link.
We save your choice in this browser’s local storage for up to 180 days. You may be asked again if the choice expires, you clear browser storage, use another browser or device, or the choices materially change. If browser storage is unavailable, your choice applies to the current page and you may be asked again on another page.
When your browser sends Global Privacy Control, advertising stays off even if you select “Accept all.” You can still choose analytics and embedded maps separately. Browser tools can also block or delete cookies.
Turning off previously enabled analytics or advertising reloads the page to stop its scripts, so finish any form first. We clear known first-party tracking cookies we can access for categories you turn off. Changing your choice cannot recall information already shared or remove cookies stored on another provider’s domain.
Information sharing and service providers
Information is handled by the service providers needed for the purposes described above, including website hosting and form processing, our email services, the optional analytics and advertising providers you enable, and booking providers you choose to visit. Advertising involves disclosing website activity to Meta when you enable it. We may also disclose information when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect legal rights, safety, or the website.
Providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Their practices are described in the Google Privacy Policy, Microsoft Privacy Statement, Meta Privacy Policy, and Netlify Privacy Statement.
Retention and privacy requests
Information may remain in our email and service-provider systems after an inquiry is answered. Retention depends on the purpose, operational needs, and applicable legal obligations. Contact us to ask about retention or request deletion.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information, or object to certain uses. To make a request or ask a question about this policy, email info@themaxwell.com, call 231.352.8090, or write to The Maxwell, 231 Main Street, Frankfort, MI 49635. We may need to verify your request before responding.
Children and security
This website is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through this website, please contact us. No website transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our website or practices change. The date above identifies the latest update.
