Good to Know Before You Stay
When you stay at The Maxwell, you will love our location. We are right in the heart of downtown and just one block from the beach at Lake Michigan and the Betsie Valley bike trail is just two blocks away. A short drive will take you to sites such as the Point Betsie Lighthouse, Crystal Lake, Sleeping Bear Dunes, and the many wineries of the Leelanau Peninsula. And if you are visiting for golf ~ there are several wonderful courses such as Arcadia Bluffs and Mountain Ridge at Crystal Mountain just a few minutes away.
Please call the hotel if you are bringing children with you. Some of our rooms are not designed for children under 12
